The ArchiGreen® IC-P range comprises 5 square-shaped lockable parapet inspection chambers of alternative heights. These are IC-P 100, IC-P 150, IC-P 200, IC-P 250 and IC-P 300 ranging from the shortest 100 mm high IC-P 100 to the tallest 300 mm high IC-P 300. The lockable parapet inspection chambers comprise two main elements:

1. The Base, a square-shaped casing with an open underside that is made of UV-resistant polypropylene. The walls of the casing and the expanded load distribution footprints are screwed together using stainless steel screws (Grade A 2) and are recessed in accordance with DIN 7505. A wide drainage passage is present between the two footprints located at the parallel sides of the inspection chamber to prevent the build-up of excess water. In order, to lift the lid with ease a groove is present in the base known as the flip-up indent. A cant strip is also present at the backside of the parapet inspection chamber to accomodate alternative fillets when installed close to the parapet.

2. The Lid is detachable and like the Base is made of UV-resistant polypropylene as well. A large filter grille made of stainless steel is recessed into the lid to drain away surface water. A chrome-plated durable quarter turn lock made of zinc alloy is also integrated into the lid to ensure it is properly locked at all times and can be detached very easily when inspecting the roof outlet beneath it. To ease the opening of the lid a small plastic piece sticks out known as the flip-up cap that aids the inspector of the roof outlet in opening the lid of the parapet inspection chamber with ease. The surface of the lid is covered with ant-slip tread pattern to prevent slipping hazards.

The IC-P inspection chambers restrain the pebble vegetation barrier and provide ease of access to inspect and maintain green roof rainwater outlets. The IC-P inspection chambers are to be located close to the parapet on a green roof. For outlets located in-field on a green roof, please view our IC-S inspection chamber product range.
